Continuous Strategic Planning

Strategic Planning 2023 Initiative

Cache Public Schools is launching a strategic planning initiative involving students, educators, families, and the entire community. 

The school district is working with the Oklahoma State School Boards Association (OSSBA) and the K20 Center for Education Community Renewal at the University of Oklahoma to facilitate the Continuous Strategic Improvement (CSI) planning process, which has been used by other school districts throughout the state.  The strategic planning process will allow the district to build on its existing foundation of excellence by using a five-year action plan to improve and strengthen its services for students.  
 

The district will complete a school climate survey and host forums in August to help identify strengths and opportunities for improvement and begin an in-depth examination of student achievement data. This will be followed by several work days where the Strategic Planning Team will review student achievement and other data to set five-year strategic goals. 

 

The initiative is sponsored by the district's 2022 Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) Grant, Reset & Refocus. If you would like more information, contact a member of the strategic planning team.
