DoDEA grants have significantly shaped the future of Cache Public Schools. These grants are allocated to us based on our percentage of military-connected students. Although the availability of these grants is determined by this percentage, the benefits extend to all students at Cache Public Schools, irrespective of their military-connected status.
The grants have been instrumental in purchasing library books, acquiring classroom technology, creating maker spaces, and adding additional electives such as eSports, Broadcasting, and Power Up PE—a pioneering Brazilian jiu-jitsu course offered at our school. These and many other initiatives have been made possible through the support of DoDEA grants. Without this vital funding, Cache Public Schools would not be able to offer many of the programs currently provided to our students.
